1. General Information

LibreCar Tenerife (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an independent car rental booking platform connecting customers (“you”, “the renter”) with licensed local car suppliers in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
All bookings made through our website are subject to these Terms.


2. Booking Process

  • All reservations must be made by adults aged 21 or older with a valid driving license and passport/ID.
  • By submitting a booking request, you agree to provide accurate information and to comply with the rental conditions.
  • Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email or WhatsApp message with all details.

3. Payment & Fees

  • Bookings can be made with a debit card. No credit card or deposit is required unless specifically stated in your offer.
  • All prices include full insurance, unlimited mileage, and 24/7 support, unless otherwise noted.
  • The price you see at checkout is the final price — no hidden fees.
  • Payment methods and rental terms may vary by supplier; all details will be shown during booking.

4. Rental Terms & Supplier Policies

  • LibreCar does not own or directly manage vehicles. Cars are provided by trusted local partners via the Localrent platform.
  • Each supplier may have additional requirements (e.g., minimum/maximum age, driver experience, local regulations).
  • Please review your individual rental agreement and supplier policy before your trip.
  • Vehicle availability, condition, and service quality are the responsibility of the local supplier.

5. Pick-up & Drop-off

  • Cars can be collected and returned at Tenerife South Airport, North Airport, or another agreed location.
  • Please arrive on time for your scheduled pick-up. Delays must be reported in advance.
  • One-way and out-of-hours pick-up/drop-off are available on request; extra charges may apply.

6. Cancellations & Changes

  • Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time (unless otherwise stated in your confirmation).
  • To change or cancel your booking, please contact our support team as soon as possible.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed using your original payment method.

7. Insurance & Liability

  • All rentals include full insurance as standard. Details of coverage (including exclusions and deductible, if any) will be specified in your rental agreement.
  • The renter is responsible for any fines, tolls, or damages not covered by insurance.

8. Customer Support

  • Our support team is available 24/7 via phone, WhatsApp, or email for any questions, emergencies, or assistance.

10. Disclaimer

LibreCar is a booking platform and does not directly own, operate, or control rental vehicles. All rental contracts are between you and the local supplier.
